Since 1967, the Ananda Meditation Retreat has been the site for deep meditation and spiritual renewal for truth-seekers throughout the world. A guest who first visited the retreat 30 years ago said: “As I walked into the meditation temple, I could here the sound of OM permeating the room, yet it was totally quiet and not one person was talking. During my first moments at Ananda, in the silence of the Meditation Retreat Temple, I knew that I was home.” For nearly 40 years, the retreat has been a sacred site for the Ananda Monastic Order.
