Divine Nature gardenThe gardens at the Ananda Meditation Retreat have a magical way of revealing the hidden light and beauty of nature. Created by years of sensitive planning and planting by master gardener, Charles Evans, the gardens at the Meditation Retreat create the perfect environment for awakening intuitive creative expression. Lose yourself and open your heart along pathways that lead to hidden fountains and benches in under the majestic canopy of pine and oak that shelters the grounds.

DSC01439For many people, creativity is a doorway to feeling and expressing the presence of God.When we are immersed in a creative flow, we can feel God moving through us. Through guided visualizations, time in nature, and time to play creatively, you will melt into a deep attunement with the presence of God flowing through you.

The morning will begin with warm-up painting activities and guided visualizations to help awaken your intuitive creative flow. You will enjoy a vegetarian lunch, then in the afternoon, you will begin your painting exploring:

  • Background, color and texture, including water, sky, clouds
  • Bringing forward a focus to your painting that emerges organically

During this weekend you will experience the transformative healing exercises of renowned author and nature educator, Bharat (Joseph) Cornell. This weekend will be led by practitioners of these transformative nature activities. Relax and immerse yourself in the silent beauty of the meditation gardens and receive instruction in meditation and ways to deepening your practice.
